In the final rinse cycle, hood/undercounter/combination or rack type dishwashers shall consume no more water per dish rack than is shown in the table below:

Type of machine Amount of water used in final rinse per dish rack
Hood type dishwasher, undercounter dishwasher 3 litres per dish rack
Hood type dishwasher that can be used as a heavy-duty dshwasher 3 litres per dish rack
Rack type dishwasher 1.5 litres per dish rack
