To be awarded [points or price deduction] in the evaluation of the bid, the supplier shall confirm, in the bid, that emissions of carbon dioxide from fossil fuels for production of process heat and electricity used for the manufacturing of tissue paper does not exceed 300 kg/tonne of produced paper, calculated according to EU Ecolabel criterion 1c for tissue paper and tissue products ((EU) 2019/70).

Emissions of carbon dioxide from fossil fuels for production of process heat and electricity used at the manufacturing of tissue paper shall be calculated according to EU Ecolabel criterion 1c for tissue paper and tissue products ((EU) 2019/70) and shall not exceed:

  • 1200 kg CO2/tonne for conventional tissue paper
  • 1850 kg CO2/tonne for structured tissue paper

The actual emission value shall be calculated as the sum of the emissions from the pulp and paper production, taking into account the mixture of pulps used.
