Criterion text
At the latest at the start of the contract, the supplier must have procedures for quality assurance/quality control that ensure the minimum quality of the remanufactured/refurbished equipment delivered within the framework of the contract or framework agreement.
Quality assurance and quality control procedures shall cover at least the following steps:

Inspecting the condition of the equipment

Reprocessing (for example, repairs, replacement or upgrades) as needed

Cleaning

Testing
-
Storage
-
Packaging and transportation
The supplier shall, upon request, demonstrate that the special contract term has been fulfilled.
Verification
By submitting its tender, the supplier accepts that this special contract term shall be fulfilled at the specified time.
Proposed follow-up
Upon request, the supplier shall provide information about the quality assurance/quality control procedures that have been used to guarantee the quality of the equipment supplied within the scope of the contract. Follow up can also be done by means of site visits or follow-up meetings in which the supplier describes how it works to meet the special contract term during the contractual period.
Third-party-certified management systems for refurbishing/remanufacturing according to the following standards (or the equivalent) can be accepted as verification of compliance:

Quality and environmental management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001/EMAS, including quality assurance/quality control procedures for the steps shown above or equivalent standards.
