Information about the criterion
Through this criterion, the contracting authority avoids purchasing equipment-specific detergent chemicals, that may contain hazardous substances. Instead of using this criterion, the procurer can append a list with the detergents for use in disinfecting and cleaning the equipment.
In some cases, compatibility tests are required when the cleaning agent must be approved for the specific equipment. It can be a cost-driver.
