The purpose of this requirement is to reward the suppliers who can obtain information about the climate impact of the products from a life-cycle perspective.

Criterion text
To be awarded [points/price deductions] in the tender evaluation the supplier shall be able to show the life-cycle climate impact for one or several disposable textiles, under the contract.
Verification
The supplier shall, upon request, be able to present any of for example the following:
- Environmental declaration in accordance with ISO 14025 or equivalent standard*
- Climate footprint in accordance with ISO 14067 or equivalent standard*
*The calculation shall be based on the results from lifecycle analysis in accordance with ISO 14044.
Proposed follow-up
Follow up by checking that the calculation for climate impact is made for a product or products under the contract. Check that the calculations contains results from lifecycle analysis in accordance with ISO 14044 or equivalent.
If the supplier claims "equivalence", relevant documentation shall be attached to the tender.
Information about the criterion
The supplier declares in the tender which disposable glove/gloves that meet the award criteria. It may for example be surgical gloves.
This requirement is formulated as an award criterion. The supplier who meets the criteria will be rewarded by added value during the evaluation of the tender. It does not exclude suppliers who cannot supply products meeting the requirement.

Environmental goals
Motive
Disposable gloves is a product group in which the main environmental and climate impact occurs during the early stages of its life cycle, in connection with production of raw materials and manufacture.
Through continuous product development, the climate impact of the product should be able to be described and improved when possible.
Evaluation will be done according to a value-added model or another model for evaluating the award criterion. If the supplier can provide the life-cycle climate impact of the tendered product, added value is granted in the form of price deduction or points etcetera, depending on the evaluation model used
Versions history
The version date indicates when the sustainability criterion was created or last updated. Last reviewed dated tells when we last checked that the sustainability criterion still is relevant.
